Late Update


So I may have missed my personal update time but it will be worth it in the end...

I have been working on a better AI system you can now run more AI and not have as many issues although there is a rather large lag spike as you get closer to a large bunch of AI ships which I am sure I could fix in the future, I have also added 2 more skins for the Tie fighter, added sounds for all of the ships that you can currently fly (although I will warn you turn your sounds down first I am not sure how the sound volume will translate across for other people ). 

I have changed some of the ships mechanics towards there alternate flight modes (The Tie Striker and the Protectorate Starfighter) using the TAB key will flip between the 2 modes. One of the modes is a more tactical one in which your maneuverability is enhanced and the other will be a mode more built for speed. with in the other ships I intend to have that key as a bonus weapon key. maybe a faster firring gun for the tie fighter or defender. The mesh and textures for the Star Destroyer have been near enough finished for now and the Mon-Calimarie cruiser will also have its mesh and texture updated.

I have also added a secondary fire system to these ships, I have uploaded videos of this to my social media. but all ships apart from the Protectorate have secondary fire. the Tie Striker is currently testing the arching bombs that will be used on another ship once it is modeled (Its not an imperial bomber)  but all the other ships have there final secondaries working. 

Thats all for now and I wish to  have this update out as soon as possible, I will upload another dev log once I am ready to upload it along with a video show casing the new stuff.
